الٓمٓر تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Alif–Lam–Mim–Ra. Those are the signs of the Book; and what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not trust.
Research verse 13:1 →
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ
Allah is the One who raised the heavens without supports that you see; then He leveled Himself upon the Throne, and He subjected the sun and the moon — each runs until a specified term. He manages the affair; He distinguishes the signs in detail so that you may be certain of the meeting with your Lord.
Research verse 13:2 →
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَدَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنْهَٰرًا وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
And He is the One who stretched out the earth and placed in it anchoring [mountains] and rivers, and of every fruit He placed in it two pairs; He overlays the night upon the day. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who reflect.
Research verse 13:3 →
وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُّتَجَٰوِرَٰتٌ وَجَنَّٰتٌ مِّنْ أَعْنَٰبٍ وَزَرْعٌ وَنَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَىٰ بِمَآءٍ وَٰحِدٍ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِى ٱلْأُكُلِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
And on the earth are adjoining tracts, and gardens of grapevines, and cultivation, and date-palms, [some] paired and [some] not paired, all watered with one water; yet We make some of them excel others in the produce. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who use their reason.
Research verse 13:4 →
وَإِن تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌ قَوْلُهُمْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَغْلَٰلُ فِىٓ أَعْنَاقِهِمْ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
And if you are amazed, then amazing is their saying, “Is it that when we have become dust, shall we indeed be in a new creation?” Those are the ones who have denied their Lord, and those are the restraints upon their necks, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will remain in it.
Research verse 13:5 →
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ ٱلْمَثُلَٰتُ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
And they urge you on in haste for the bad thing before the good, while the exemplary punishments have already passed away before them. Yet surely your Lord is indeed possessor of covering‑forgiveness for mankind despite their wrongdoing, and surely your Lord is indeed severe in the follow‑up retribution.
Research verse 13:6 →
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ
And those who have denied say, “Why has not a sign been sent down upon him from his Lord?” You are only a warner, and for every people there is a guide.
Research verse 13:7 →
ٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ ٱلْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقْدَارٍ
Allah knows what every female carries, and what the wombs diminish and what they increase; and everything is with Him by a measured apportionment.
Research verse 13:8 →
عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ٱلْمُتَعَالِ
Knower of the hidden and the witnessed, the Great, the Supremely High.
Research verse 13:9 →
سَوَآءٌ مِّنكُم مَّنْ أَسَرَّ ٱلْقَوْلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍۭ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ
It is all the same, among you, whether one keeps the speech hidden or one makes it loud, and whether one is seeking concealment by night or moving openly by day.
Research verse 13:10 →
لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٌ مِّنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوٓءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ
For him there are attendants, alternating, from in front of him and from behind him; they guard him by [the] command of Allah. Indeed, Allah does not change what is with a people until they change what is with themselves. And when Allah intends bad [outcome] for a people, there is no turning it back; and they have, apart from Him, no guardian.
Research verse 13:11 →
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُرِيكُمُ ٱلْبَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ
He is the One who shows you the lightning, [causing] fear and hope, and He brings into being the heavy clouds.
Research verse 13:12 →
وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمْ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْمِحَالِ
And the thunder declares His transcendence along with His praise, and the angels (do so) out of awe of Him; and He sends the thunderbolts, then hits with them whom He wills, while they dispute concerning Allah, and He is intense in (His) overpowering.
Research verse 13:13 →
لَهُۥ دَعْوَةُ ٱلْحَقِّ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُونَ لَهُم بِشَىْءٍ إِلَّا كَبَٰسِطِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى ٱلْمَآءِ لِيَبْلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَٰلِغِهِۦ وَمَا دُعَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ
To Him belongs the true call; and those whom they call upon apart from Him do not respond to them in anything—[their case is] only like one who stretches out his two palms towards water so that it may reach his mouth, yet it is not reaching it. And the call of the deniers is nothing but in loss.
Research verse 13:14 →
وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلَٰلُهُم بِٱلْغُدُوِّ وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِ
And to Allah *yasjudu* in lowliness whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly and unwillingly, and their shadows [do so] in the early mornings and the late afternoons.
Research verse 13:15 →
قُلْ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ قُلْ أَفَٱتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِى ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَٱلنُّورُ أَمْ جَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ خَلَقُوا۟ كَخَلْقِهِۦ فَتَشَٰبَهَ ٱلْخَلْقُ عَلَيْهِمْ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَهُوَ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّٰرُ
Say, “Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?” Say, “Allah.” Say, “So have you taken, apart from Him, protectors who do not possess for themselves any benefit nor any harm?” Say, “Is the blind equal to the seeing? Or do the darknesses equal the light? Or have they set up for Allah partners who have created as His creation [is], so that the creation has become confused for them?” Say, “Allah is the Creator of every thing, and He is the One, the Subduer-overwhelming.”
Research verse 13:16 →
أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌۢ بِقَدَرِهَا فَٱحْتَمَلَ ٱلسَّيْلُ زَبَدًا رَّابِيًا وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلنَّارِ ٱبْتِغَآءَ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَٰعٍ زَبَدٌ مِّثْلُهُۥ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَٱلْبَٰطِلَ فَأَمَّا ٱلزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَآءً وَأَمَّا مَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ
He sent down from the sky water, and so valleys flowed according to their measure; then the torrent carried a swelling froth. And from what they kindle upon in the fire, seeking an ornament or a utility, there is a froth similar to it. Thus does Allah set forth the truth and the falsity: as for the froth, it goes away as scum, while what benefits people remains in the earth. Thus does Allah set forth the parables.
Research verse 13:17 →
لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَهُۥ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ
For those who have responded to their Lord is the finest (outcome); while those who have not responded to Him — if they had whatever is in the earth, all of it, and the like of it along with it, they would surely ransom themselves with it. Those — for them is the evil reckoning, and their shelter is Hell, and wretched is the resting-place.
Research verse 13:18 →
أَفَمَن يَعْلَمُ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلْحَقُّ كَمَنْ هُوَ أَعْمَىٰٓ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
So is one who knows that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? Only possessors of cores (of understanding) take heed.
Research verse 13:19 →
ٱلَّذِينَ يُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَنقُضُونَ ٱلْمِيثَٰقَ
Those who fully carry out the covenant of Allah and do not undo the binding pledge.
Research verse 13:20 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ وَيَخَافُونَ سُوٓءَ ٱلْحِسَابِ
And those who connect what Allah has commanded to be connected, and who are in awe of their Lord, and who fear the evil of the reckoning—
Research verse 13:21 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا۟ ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى ٱلدَّارِ
And those who endured, seeking the face of their Lord, and who established the prayer, and who spent out of what We provided them, secretly and openly, and who repel the bad with the good – those, for them is the ultimate outcome of the abode.
Research verse 13:22 →
جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمْ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن كُلِّ بَابٍ
Gardens of lasting settlement which they will enter, and whoever has been soundly set‑right of their fathers, their partners, and their offspring; and the angels will be entering upon them from every gate,
Research verse 13:23 →
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُم بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى ٱلدَّارِ
Peace be upon you for how you endured; so excellent is the outcome of the abode.
Research verse 13:24 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ
And those who break the covenant of Allah after its solemn binding, and sever what Allah has commanded to be joined, and cause corruption in the land – those, for them is the banishment from mercy, and for them is the evil outcome of the abode.
Research verse 13:25 →
ٱللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ وَفَرِحُوا۟ بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَٰعٌ
Allah spreads out provision for whom He wills and measures (it), and they exult in the lowly life; yet the lowly life, compared with the Hereafter, is nothing but a (temporary) utility.
Research verse 13:26 →
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ أَنَابَ
And those who have denied say, “Why has a sign not been sent down upon him from his Lord?” Say, “Indeed, Allah lets sink into error whomever He wills, and He guides to Himself whoever turns back.”
Research verse 13:27 →
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ ٱلْقُلُوبُ
Those who have trusted, and whose hearts grow inwardly settled by the remembrance of Allah. Indeed—by the remembrance of Allah hearts grow inwardly settled.
Research verse 13:28 →
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ طُوبَىٰ لَهُمْ وَحُسْنُ مَـَٔابٍ
Those who have believed and done sound deeds – goodness is for them, and a fine place of return.
Research verse 13:29 →
كَذَٰلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ فِىٓ أُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهَآ أُمَمٌ لِّتَتْلُوَا۟ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّى لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ مَتَابِ
In like manner We have sent you within a community before which communities have already passed away, so that you may recite to them what We have inspired to you, while they are denying the All-Merciful. Say, “He is my Lord; there is no god except Him. Upon Him I have relied, and to Him is my turning back.”
Research verse 13:30 →
وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْءَانًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ ٱلْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ بَل لِّلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا أَفَلَمْ يَا۟يْـَٔسِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَى ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلَا يَزَالُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُوا۟ قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِّن دَارِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِىَ وَعْدُ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ
And if there were a recitation by which the mountains were set in motion with it, or the earth were cut up with it, or the dead were spoken to with it—rather, the command altogether belongs to God. Have those who have believed not realized that, if God willed, He would surely have guided all people altogether? And those who have denied will not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by a striking calamity, or it will alight near their home, until the promise of God comes. Indeed, God does not break the appointment.
Research verse 13:31 →
وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهُمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ
And indeed, messengers were surely mocked at before you; then I gave respite to those who covered [the truth], then I seized them — so how was My requital?
Research verse 13:32 →
أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّـُٔونَهُۥ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَم بِظَٰهِرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّوا۟ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
Is then the One who is standing over every soul for what it has earned [like one who is not]? Yet they have made for Allah partners. Say, “Name them. Or will you inform Him of what He does not know in the earth, or are you [merely clinging] to an outward show of speech?” No; rather, their plotting has been made appealing to those who have denied, and they have been turned away from the path. And whomever Allah lets stray—for him there is no guide.
Research verse 13:33 →
لَّهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٍ
For them is a punishment in the nearer life, and the punishment of the later one is more grievous; and they have, against Allah, no protector.
Research verse 13:34 →
مَّثَلُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ أُكُلُهَا دَآئِمٌ وَظِلُّهَا تِلْكَ عُقْبَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّعُقْبَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ٱلنَّارُ
The likeness of the garden which the God‑conscious have been promised: rivers flow from beneath it; its produce is constant, and its shade. That is the outcome of those who were God‑conscious, while the outcome of the deniers is the Fire.
Research verse 13:35 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمِنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ مَن يُنكِرُ بَعْضَهُۥ قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَلَآ أُشْرِكَ بِهِۦٓ إِلَيْهِ أَدْعُوا۟ وَإِلَيْهِ مَـَٔابِ
And those to whom We have given the Book rejoice in what has been sent down to you, while among the factions are some who reject part of it. Say, “I have only been commanded to serve Allah and not join [anything] with Him. To Him I call, and to Him is my return.”
Research verse 13:36 →
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا وَاقٍ
And thus We have sent it down as a wise judgment in Arabic; and if you were to follow their desires after the knowledge has come to you, you would have, against Allah, no ally and no protector.
Research verse 13:37 →
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَٰجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ
And indeed We sent messengers before you, and We made for them spouses and offspring. And it was not for any messenger to come with a sign except by Allah’s permission. For every appointed term there is a written decree.
Research verse 13:38 →
يَمْحُوا۟ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيُثْبِتُ وَعِندَهُۥٓ أُمُّ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
Allah effaces whatever He wills and He makes firm, and with Him is the source‑root of the Book.
Research verse 13:39 →
وَإِن مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَٰغُ وَعَلَيْنَا ٱلْحِسَابُ
And whether We indeed show you some of what We promise them, or We indeed take you fully, then upon you is only the conveying, and upon Us is the reckoning.
Research verse 13:40 →
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا نَأْتِى ٱلْأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا وَٱللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِۦ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ
Have they not seen that We come to the land, diminishing it from its edges? And Allah judges; there is no follower-up to His judgment, and He is swift in the reckoning.
Research verse 13:41 →
وَقَدْ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَكْرُ جَمِيعًا يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ وَسَيَعْلَمُ ٱلْكُفَّٰرُ لِمَنْ عُقْبَى ٱلدَّارِ
And those before them certainly devised (plots), but to God belongs every devising altogether. He knows what every soul acquires, and those who cover (the truth) will soon know for whom is the ultimate outcome of the abode.
Research verse 13:42 →
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
And those who have covered [the truth] say, “You are not one sent.” Say, “Allah is enough as a witness between me and you, and [so is] whoever has knowledge of the Book.”
