حمٓ
Hā Mīm.
Research verse 43:1 →
وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
By the manifest Book,
Research verse 43:2 →
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur’an so that you may use reason.
Research verse 43:3 →
وَإِنَّهُۥ فِىٓ أُمِّ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ
And indeed, it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, surely exalted, wise.
Research verse 43:4 →
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِينَ
So shall We turn the Reminder away from you, passing [you] by, because you have been an excessive people?
Research verse 43:5 →
وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن نَّبِىٍّ فِى ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
And how many a prophet We have sent among the former ones.
Research verse 43:6 →
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِىٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
And no prophet ever came to them but that they were, concerning him, mocking.
Research verse 43:7 →
فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
So We destroyed those mightier than them in force, and the pattern of the former ones has already passed.
Research verse 43:8 →
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
And if you were to ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they would certainly say, “The Mighty, the Knowing created them.”
Research verse 43:9 →
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
The One who made the earth for you as a cradle, and made for you within it pathways, so that you might be guided.
Research verse 43:10 →
وَٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَأَنشَرْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا كَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
And [He is] the One who sent down from the sky water in due measure, then We spread to life by it a dead land; likewise you will be brought out.
Research verse 43:11 →
وَٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ
And [He is] the One who created all the pairs, and made for you, from the ships and the grazing livestock, that which you ride.
Research verse 43:12 →
لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقْرِنِينَ
so that you may be balanced upon their backs, then remember your Lord’s favor when you have become balanced upon them and say, “Glory be to the One who has subjected this to us, while we were not ones able to pair ourselves with it.”
Research verse 43:13 →
وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
and indeed we are surely turning back to our Lord.
Research verse 43:14 →
وَجَعَلُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزْءًا إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٌ مُّبِينٌ
Yet they assigned to Him, from among His servants, a portion. Indeed, the human being is surely an evident concealer (of truth / ingrate).
Research verse 43:15 →
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَىٰكُم بِٱلْبَنِينَ
Or has He taken, from what He creates, daughters and singled you out with sons?
Research verse 43:16 →
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
And when one of them is given news of what he has set up as a likeness for the All‑Merciful, his face remains darkened while he is choked within.
Research verse 43:17 →
أَوَمَن يُنَشَّؤُا۟ فِى ٱلْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ
Or (do they attribute to Him) one who is brought up amid adornment, while in dispute he is not clear?
Research verse 43:18 →
وَجَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَٰدُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنَٰثًا أَشَهِدُوا۟ خَلْقَهُمْ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَٰدَتُهُمْ وَيُسْـَٔلُونَ
And they assigned the angels—those who are servants of the All-Merciful—as females. Were they present at their creation? Their testimony will be written down, and they will be questioned.
Research verse 43:19 →
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَٰهُم مَّا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
And they said, “If the All‑Merciful had willed, we would not have served them.” They have no knowledge of that; they are nothing but conjecturing.
Research verse 43:20 →
أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ كِتَٰبًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ
Or have We given them a book before it, so they are holding fast to it?
Research verse 43:21 →
بَلْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّهْتَدُونَ
Rather, they said, “Indeed, we found our fathers upon a community, and indeed we are, upon their traces, rightly guided.”
Research verse 43:22 →
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقْتَدُونَ
And thus, We did not send before you into any town a warner without its luxuriant ones saying, “We have found our fathers upon a community, and we are, upon their traces, emulators.”
Research verse 43:23 →
قَٰلَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُم بِأَهْدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدتُّمْ عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَكُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ
He said, “Even if I have come to you with something more guiding than what you found your fathers upon?” They said, “Indeed, as to that with which you have been sent, we are deniers.”
Research verse 43:24 →
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
So We exacted vengeance from them; then look how the outcome was for the deniers.
Research verse 43:25 →
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِى بَرَآءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ
And when Abraham said to his father and his people, “Indeed, I am one who is clear of what you serve.”
Research verse 43:26 →
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى فَإِنَّهُۥ سَيَهْدِينِ
except the One who originated me; for indeed, He will surely guide me.
Research verse 43:27 →
وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةًۢ بَاقِيَةً فِى عَقِبِهِۦ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
And he made it a remaining word within his successors, so that they might return.
Research verse 43:28 →
بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ وَرَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ
Rather, I granted enjoyment to these and their fathers until the truth came to them, and a manifest messenger.
Research verse 43:29 →
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ
And when the truth came to them, they said, “This is magic, and we are indeed rejecters of it.”
Research verse 43:30 →
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنَ ٱلْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ
And they said, “If only this Qur’an had been sent down upon a great man from the two towns.”
Research verse 43:31 →
أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَتَ رَبِّكَ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَٰتٍ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
Is it they who distribute the mercy of your Lord? We are the ones who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the lowly life, and We have raised some of them above others in degrees so that some of them may take others into service; yet the mercy of your Lord is better than what they gather.
Research verse 43:32 →
وَلَوْلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ
And were it not that mankind would become one community, We would have made for those who deny the All‑Merciful, for their houses, roofs of silver and stairways upon which they ascend.
Research verse 43:33 →
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَٰبًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِـُٔونَ
and for their houses (We would have made) doorways, and couches upon which they recline.
Research verse 43:34 →
وَزُخْرُفًا وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
and ornament. Yet all of that is nothing but a provision of the life of this world, while the Hereafter, with your Lord, is for those who are mindful (of Him).
Research verse 43:35 →
وَمَن يَعْشُ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُۥ شَيْطَٰنًا فَهُوَ لَهُۥ قَرِينٌ
And whoever grows dim away from the remembrance of the All-Merciful, We assign for him a satan, so he is for him a close associate.
Research verse 43:36 →
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
And indeed, they surely turn them away from the path, while they suppose that they are rightly guided.
Research verse 43:37 →
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرِينُ
Until, when he comes to Us, he says, “If only there were between me and you the distance of the two east-risings!” So how evil a close companion.
Research verse 43:38 →
وَلَن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِذ ظَّلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
And today it will never benefit you—when you had done wrong—that you are sharing in the punishment.
Research verse 43:39 →
أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِى ٱلْعُمْىَ وَمَن كَانَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
So is it then you who can make the deaf hear, or guide the blind, and one who is in evident misguidance?
Research verse 43:40 →
فَإِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُم مُّنتَقِمُونَ
So if indeed We should take you away, then surely We are ones who take retribution from them.
Research verse 43:41 →
أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ ٱلَّذِى وَعَدْنَٰهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِم مُّقْتَدِرُونَ
Or if We do indeed show you that which We have promised them, then We are surely overpowering over them.
Research verse 43:42 →
فَٱسْتَمْسِكْ بِٱلَّذِىٓ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
So hold fast to what has been inspired to you; indeed, you are upon a straight path.
Research verse 43:43 →
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْـَٔلُونَ
And indeed, it is surely a mention of honor for you and for your people, and you will certainly be asked.
Research verse 43:44 →
وَسْـَٔلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَآ أَجَعَلْنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ءَالِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ
And ask those We sent before you, from among Our messengers: did We ever make, apart from the All‑Merciful, any gods to be served?
Research verse 43:45 →
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ فَقَالَ إِنِّى رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
And indeed We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, so he said, “Indeed, I am a messenger of the Lord of the worlds.”
Research verse 43:46 →
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَضْحَكُونَ
So when he came to them with Our signs, suddenly they were laughing at them.
Research verse 43:47 →
وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ إِلَّا هِىَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا وَأَخَذْنَٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
And We do not show them any sign but that it is greater than its sister, and We seized them with the punishment so that they might return.
Research verse 43:48 →
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَ ٱلسَّاحِرُ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ
And they said, “O magician, call for us your Lord by what He has obligated at your side; indeed, we are surely ones who will be guided.”
Research verse 43:49 →
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ
Then when We removed from them the chastisement, behold, they are breaking (their pledge).
Research verse 43:50 →
وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى قَوْمِهِۦ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِى مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَٰذِهِ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِىٓ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, “My people, is not the dominion of Egypt mine, and these rivers flowing beneath me? Will you then not perceive?”
Research verse 43:51 →
أَمْ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
Or am I better than this one who is lowly and almost cannot make things clear?
Research verse 43:52 →
فَلَوْلَآ أُلْقِىَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ
So why, then, have bracelets of gold not been cast upon him, or the angels come with him, joined together?
Research verse 43:53 →
فَٱسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُۥ فَأَطَاعُوهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ
So he made his people light-minded, and they obeyed him; indeed, they had been a people who break away.
Research verse 43:54 →
فَلَمَّآ ءَاسَفُونَا ٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Then when they caused Us grief, We exacted retribution from them, and so We drowned them, all together.
Research verse 43:55 →
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِّلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
So We made them a preceding group and a parable for those who came later.
Research verse 43:56 →
وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ
And when the son of Mary was struck as an example, suddenly your people, because of it, raise a commotion.
Research verse 43:57 →
وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًۢا بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ
And they said, “Are our gods better, or is he?” They did not strike it for you except as contentious twisting of argument; rather, they are a people given to disputing.
Research verse 43:58 →
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ مَثَلًا لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
He is nothing but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him a parable for the Children of Israel.
Research verse 43:59 →
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنكُم مَّلَٰٓئِكَةً فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ
And if We willed, We would surely have made, from you, angels in the earth, succeeding (one another).
Research verse 43:60 →
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلْمٌ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
And indeed, it is surely knowledge of the Hour, so do not dispute about it, and follow Me; this is a straight path.
Research verse 43:61 →
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
And let not the Satan turn you away; indeed, he is to you an evident enemy.
Research verse 43:62 →
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى تَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
And when Jesus came with the clear evidences, he said, “I have indeed come to you with the wisdom, and so that I may make clear to you some of that in which you differ; so be conscious of Allah and obey me.”
Research verse 43:63 →
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him; this is a straight path.
Research verse 43:64 →
فَٱخْتَلَفَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَيْنِهِمْ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ
Then the factions differed among themselves; so ruin is for those who did wrong, from the punishment of a painful Day.
Research verse 43:65 →
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Are they waiting for anything except the Hour — that it should come upon them all of a sudden while they are not aware?
Research verse 43:66 →
ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
Close intimates, on that Day, will be enemies to one another, except those who are ever‑cautious (of God).
Research verse 43:67 →
يَٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
“O My servants, no fear is upon you today, nor are you ones who grieve.”
Research verse 43:68 →
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ
Those who had trusted in Our signs and had been ones who submit.
Research verse 43:69 →
ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ أَنتُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ
Enter the Garden, you and your partners, being made joyful.
Research verse 43:70 →
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ ٱلْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلْأَعْيُنُ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
They are being gone around with platters of gold and cups; and in it is whatever the selves desire and what the eyes find pleasurable, and you will be in it enduring.
Research verse 43:71 →
وَتِلْكَ ٱلْجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
And that is the Garden which you have been made to inherit because of what you used to do.
Research verse 43:72 →
لَكُمْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مِّنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
For you therein is abundant fruit; from it you eat.
Research verse 43:73 →
إِنَّ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ فِى عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدُونَ
Indeed, the criminals are in the punishment of Hell, remaining.
Research verse 43:74 →
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ
It is not slackened from them, while they, in it, are utterly despondent.
Research verse 43:75 →
وَمَا ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
And We did not wrong them; rather, they themselves were the wrongdoers.
Research verse 43:76 →
وَنَادَوْا۟ يَٰمَٰلِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّٰكِثُونَ
And they will cry out, “O Mālik, let your Lord finish us off!” He will say, “Indeed, you are ones who will remain.”
Research verse 43:77 →
لَقَدْ جِئْنَٰكُم بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَٰرِهُونَ
We have certainly come to you with the truth, but most of you are hateful toward the truth.
Research verse 43:78 →
أَمْ أَبْرَمُوٓا۟ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ
Or have they firmly tied up a course of action? Then indeed, We are ones who firmly tie (it).
Research verse 43:79 →
أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَىٰهُم بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
Or do they reckon that We do not hear their secret and their private conversation? Yes indeed—while Our envoys are with them, writing.
Research verse 43:80 →
قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْعَٰبِدِينَ
Say, “If the All-Merciful had a child, then I am the foremost of the worshippers.”
Research verse 43:81 →
سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Transcendent is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.
Research verse 43:82 →
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا۟ وَيَلْعَبُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ
So leave them to plunge on and play until they encounter their Day which they are appointed.
Research verse 43:83 →
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَٰهٌ وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَٰهٌ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
And He is the One who is a god in the heaven and a god on the earth, and He is the Wise, the Knowing.
Research verse 43:84 →
وَتَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
And supremely blessed is the One to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and with Him is knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you are returned.
Research verse 43:85 →
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
And those whom they call upon apart from Him do not control the intercession—except one who has borne witness to the truth, while they know.
Research verse 43:86 →
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
And if you were to ask them, “Who created them?” they would surely say, “Allah.” So how are they turned away?
Research verse 43:87 →
وَقِيلِهِۦ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ
And his saying, “My Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe.”
Research verse 43:88 →
فَٱصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَٰمٌ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
So turn away from them and say, “Peace.” Then they will certainly know.
Research verse 43:89 →
