صٓ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكْرِ
Ṣād. By the Qur’an, possessor of the Reminder,
Research verse 38:1 →
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى عِزَّةٍ وَشِقَاقٍ
Rather, those who have denied are in might and division.
Research verse 38:2 →
كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ
How many a generation We destroyed before them; then they cried out, but it was not a time for escape.
Research verse 38:3 →
وَعَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ
And they are astonished that a warner has come to them from among themselves; and the deniers say, “This is a spell‑caster, an utter liar.”
Research verse 38:4 →
أَجَعَلَ ٱلْـَٔالِهَةَ إِلَٰهًا وَٰحِدًا إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌ
“Has he made the gods into a single god? Indeed, this is certainly a most astonishing thing.”
Research verse 38:5 →
وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُوا۟ وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ يُرَادُ
And the elite among them went off, [saying], "Proceed, and endure with your gods; indeed, this is certainly a matter being intended."
Research verse 38:6 →
مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِى ٱلْمِلَّةِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخْتِلَٰقٌ
“We have not heard of this in the later community; this is nothing but an invention.”
Research verse 38:7 →
أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّن ذِكْرِى بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِ
“Has the Reminder been sent down upon him from among us? No; rather, they are in doubt about My Reminder. No; they have not yet tasted My punishment.”
Research verse 38:8 →
أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْوَهَّابِ
Or do they possess the treasuries of the mercy of your Lord, the Mighty, the Ever‑Bestowing?
Research verse 38:9 →
أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ
Or do they have the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them? Then let them ascend by the means.
Research verse 38:10 →
جُندٌ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
A mere force, there, will be routed—[just] one of the factions.
Research verse 38:11 →
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو ٱلْأَوْتَادِ
Before them, the people of Noah, and ‘Ād, and Pharaoh of the stakes, cried lies.
Research verse 38:12 →
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ
And Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the companions of the thicket—those are the factions.
Research verse 38:13 →
إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ
None of them was there but that he denied the envoys, so the requital became duly established.
Research verse 38:14 →
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍ
And these are awaiting nothing but a single cry, for which there is no (moment of) gasp.
Research verse 38:15 →
وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ
And they say, “Our Lord, hasten for us our allotted cut-off (portion) before the Day of Reckoning.”
Research verse 38:16 →
ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
Endure what they say, and remember Our servant David, the possessor of (firm) capability; indeed, he was one who repeatedly returns.
Research verse 38:17 →
إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا ٱلْجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِ
Indeed, We subjected the mountains along with him, so that they glorified [Us] in the evening and at sunrise.
Research verse 38:18 →
وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً كُلٌّ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
And the birds, gathered together — each one repeatedly turning back to Him.
Research verse 38:19 →
وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ ٱلْخِطَابِ
And We reinforced his dominion and granted him the wisdom and the decisive separation of the discourse.
Research verse 38:20 →
وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا۟ ٱلْمِحْرَابَ
And has the report of the disputants come to you, when they scaled the sanctuary?
Research verse 38:21 →
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَٱهْدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ
When they entered upon David, he was startled by them. They said, “Do not fear. We are two disputants: one of us has transgressed against the other, so judge between us with the truth, and do not be excessive, and guide us to the even path.”
Research verse 38:22 →
إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِى لَهُۥ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِىَ نَعْجَةٌ وَٰحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِى فِى ٱلْخِطَابِ
“Indeed this is my brother; he has ninety‑nine ewes, and I have one ewe. So he said, ‘Entrust her to me,’ and he overpowered me in the discourse.”
Research verse 38:23 →
قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلْخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبْغِى بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٌ مَّا هُمْ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًا وَأَنَابَ
He said, “He has certainly wronged you by asking for your ewe to be [added] to his ewes. And indeed many of the partners, one of them surely transgresses against another, except those who have believed and done the sound/righteous deeds – and how few they are. And David realized that We had indeed tested him, so he sought forgiveness of his Lord, and fell down, bowing, and turned back.”
Research verse 38:24 →
فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍ
So We covered that for him, and indeed, he surely has with Us closeness and a fair return.
Research verse 38:25 →
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةً فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا نَسُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْحِسَابِ
O David, We have indeed set you as a successor in the land; so judge between the people with the truth, and do not follow desire, lest it make you stray from the path of Allah. Indeed, those who stray from the path of Allah—for them is a severe punishment, because they forgot the Day of Reckoning.
Research verse 38:26 →
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَٰطِلًا ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them as something vain; that is the supposition of those who have covered [the truth]. So ruin is for those who have covered [the truth] because of the Fire.
Research verse 38:27 →
أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ
Or shall We make those who have believed and done the sound, wholesome deeds like those who cause ruin in the land? Or shall We make those who are mindful (of protection) like the flagrant violators?
Research verse 38:28 →
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
A written text We have sent down to you, blessed, so that they may closely consider its signs, and so that those endowed with cores (of mind/heart) may take heed.
Research verse 38:29 →
وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
And We granted to David, Solomon. What an excellent servant—indeed, he was ever-returning.
Research verse 38:30 →
إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ
When, at the evening, the standing, swift ones were presented before him.
Research verse 38:31 →
فَقَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ ٱلْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّى حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِٱلْحِجَابِ
So he said, “Indeed I have loved the love of the good, away from the remembrance of my Lord, until it concealed itself by the veil.”
Research verse 38:32 →
رُدُّوهَا عَلَىَّ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ
“Return them to me.” Then he began wiping [them], over the legs and the necks.
Research verse 38:33 →
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ
And indeed We tested Solomon, and We cast upon his seat of authority a body; then he turned back.
Research verse 38:34 →
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ
He said, “My Lord, forgive me, and grant me a dominion that is not fitting for anyone after me. Indeed, You — You are the Ever‑Bestower.”
Research verse 38:35 →
فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ
So We subjected the wind to him, running by his command, gently, wherever he reached.
Research verse 38:36 →
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍ وَغَوَّاصٍ
And the devils—every builder and diver,
Research verse 38:37 →
وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ
and others, bound together in the shackles.
Research verse 38:38 →
هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
This is Our gift, so bestow or hold back without reckoning.
Research verse 38:39 →
وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍ
And indeed, he surely has, with Us, nearness and a fine return.
Research verse 38:40 →
وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ بِنُصْبٍ وَعَذَابٍ
And remember Our servant Job, when he called his Lord: “Indeed, the shayṭān has touched me with fatigue and torment.”
Research verse 38:41 →
ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ هَٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌۢ بَارِدٌ وَشَرَابٌ
Stamp with your foot; this is a cool place for washing and a drink.
Research verse 38:42 →
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
And We granted him his family and the like of them along with them, as a mercy from Us and a reminder for those endowed with core understanding.
Research verse 38:43 →
وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَٱضْرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَٰهُ صَابِرًا نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
And take in your hand a bundle, then strike with it, and do not violate [your oath]. Indeed, We found him enduring—what a fine servant! Indeed, he was ever-turning back.
Research verse 38:44 →
وَٱذْكُرْ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُو۟لِى ٱلْأَيْدِى وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ
And remember Our servants: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—possessors of capability and insight.
Research verse 38:45 →
إِنَّآ أَخْلَصْنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٍ ذِكْرَى ٱلدَّارِ
Indeed, We purified them with a pure [quality]: remembrance of the abode.
Research verse 38:46 →
وَإِنَّهُمْ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ
And indeed they, with Us, are surely among the purified select, the excellent ones.
Research verse 38:47 →
وَٱذْكُرْ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ وَكُلٌّ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ
And remember Ishmael, and Al‑Yasaʿ, and the possessor of the apportionment; and each one is among the excellent.
Research verse 38:48 →
هَٰذَا ذِكْرٌ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍ
This is a reminder, and indeed, for those who are mindful (of God) there is surely a fine place of return.
Research verse 38:49 →
جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ مُّفَتَّحَةً لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبُ
Gardens of Eden, with the doors opened wide for them,
Research verse 38:50 →
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَشَرَابٍ
Reclining therein, they will call therein for plentiful fruit and drink.
Research verse 38:51 →
وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ
And alongside them are ones who confine the gaze, peers of the same stage.
Research verse 38:52 →
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ
This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning.
Research verse 38:53 →
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ
Indeed, this is Our provision; it has no ending.
Research verse 38:54 →
هَٰذَا وَإِنَّ لِلطَّٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٍ
This, and indeed for the transgressors is surely the worst place of return.
Research verse 38:55 →
جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ
Hell — they will be exposed to it; and how evil a bedding it is.
Research verse 38:56 →
هَٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌ وَغَسَّاقٌ
This, then let them taste it: boiling water and intensely cold fluid.
Research verse 38:57 →
وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجٌ
And another of its kind—[in] paired sorts.
Research verse 38:58 →
هَٰذَا فَوْجٌ مُّقْتَحِمٌ مَّعَكُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِهِمْ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا۟ ٱلنَّارِ
This is a troop forcing its way in along with you. No welcome for them; indeed, they are ones who will be scorched by the Fire.
Research verse 38:59 →
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِكُمْ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ
They will say, “Rather, it is you—no welcome for you! You are the ones who sent it ahead for us, so how miserable is the lodging-place.”
Research verse 38:60 →
قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا فِى ٱلنَّارِ
They will say, “Our Lord, whoever put this forward for us, then increase his punishment as a multiple in the Fire.”
Research verse 38:61 →
وَقَالُوا۟ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ
And they will say, “What is [wrong] with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the evil ones?”
Research verse 38:62 →
أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ
Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have the sights swerved away from them?
Research verse 38:63 →
إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ ٱلنَّارِ
Indeed, that is surely the truth: the mutual disputing of the people of the Fire.
Research verse 38:64 →
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٌ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
Say, “I am only a warner, and there is no god at all except Allah, the One, the Subduer.”
Research verse 38:65 →
رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ
Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the Covering-Forgiver.
Research verse 38:66 →
قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌا۟ عَظِيمٌ
Say, “It is a tremendous announcement.”
Research verse 38:67 →
أَنتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ
you are turning away from it.
Research verse 38:68 →
مَا كَانَ لِىَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۭ بِٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
I had no knowledge of the highest assembly when they were disputing.
Research verse 38:69 →
إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Nothing is being revealed to me except that I am only a manifest warner.
Research verse 38:70 →
إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن طِينٍ
When your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I am a creator of a human from clay.”
Research verse 38:71 →
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ
So when I have shaped him evenly and blown into him from My spirit, then fall down to him, prostrating.
Research verse 38:72 →
فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
So the angels fell down in prostration, every one of them, all together.
Research verse 38:73 →
إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ ٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
Except Iblees; he sought greatness and was among those who cover [the truth].
Research verse 38:74 →
قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَىَّ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْعَالِينَ
He said, “O Iblees, what held you back from bowing down to what I created with My two hands? Did you act arrogantly, or were you among those who are exalted?”
Research verse 38:75 →
قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍ
He said, “I am better than him: You created me from fire, and You created him from clay.”
Research verse 38:76 →
قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
He said, “So get out of it, for you are indeed one cast off.”
Research verse 38:77 →
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Judgment.
Research verse 38:78 →
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
He said, “My Lord, then defer me until the Day they are raised up.”
Research verse 38:79 →
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
He said, “Then indeed, you are surely among those given respite.”
Research verse 38:80 →
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
until the Day of the appointed, known time.
Research verse 38:81 →
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
He said, “Then, by Your might, I will surely lead them astray, all together,
Research verse 38:82 →
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
except Your servants among them who are purified.
Research verse 38:83 →
قَالَ فَٱلْحَقُّ وَٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ
He said, “Then the truth — and the truth is what I say:
Research verse 38:84 →
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
I will surely fill Hell with you and with whoever among them follows you, all together.
Research verse 38:85 →
قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ
Say, “I do not ask you for it any reward, and I am not among those who affect [things] with strain.”
Research verse 38:86 →
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
It is nothing but a reminder for all communities.
Research verse 38:87 →
وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعْدَ حِينٍۭ
And you will surely come to know its report after a while.
