الٓمٓ
Alif. Lam. Meem.
Research verse 29:1 →
أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوٓا۟ أَن يَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
Have the people supposed that they will be left alone to say, “We have believed,” while they are not tested?
Research verse 29:2 →
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
And We have indeed tested those before them, so that Allah will surely know those who have been truthful and will surely know the liars.
Research verse 29:3 →
أَمْ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن يَسْبِقُونَا سَآءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
Or have those who do the misdeeds reckoned that they will get ahead of Us? How bad is what they judge!
Research verse 29:4 →
مَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ لِقَآءَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ لَـَٔاتٍ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Whoever has been hoping for the encounter with Allah, then surely the term set by Allah is indeed coming; and He is the All‑Hearing, the All‑Knowing.
Research verse 29:5 →
وَمَن جَٰهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَٰهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِۦٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
And whoever exerts effort, then he only exerts effort for his own self; indeed, Allah is surely without need of the worlds.
Research verse 29:6 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
And those who have believed and done the sound/righteous deeds – We will surely cover over/remove from them their bad deeds, and We will surely repay them with the best of what they used to do.
Research verse 29:7 →
وَوَصَّيْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِى مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَآ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
And We have instructed the human being to [treat] his parents with goodness. But if they strive against you so that you join with Me what you have no knowledge of, then do not obey them. To Me is your return, and I will inform you of what you used to do.
Research verse 29:8 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
And those who have believed and done the sound/wholesome deeds – We will surely admit them among the sound/wholesome ones.
Research verse 29:9 →
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ فَإِذَآ أُوذِىَ فِى ٱللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتْنَةَ ٱلنَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَئِن جَآءَ نَصْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمْ أَوَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِمَا فِى صُدُورِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
And among the people is one who says, “We have believed in God.” Then when he is hurt on account of God, he makes the testing of the people like the chastisement of God. Yet if help comes from your Lord, he will surely say, “Indeed, we were with you.” Is not God most knowing of what is within the chests of all beings?
Research verse 29:10 →
وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ
And Allah will surely make known those who have believed, and He will surely make known the hypocrites.
Research verse 29:11 →
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ سَبِيلَنَا وَلْنَحْمِلْ خَطَٰيَٰكُمْ وَمَا هُم بِحَٰمِلِينَ مِنْ خَطَٰيَٰهُم مِّن شَىْءٍ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
And those who have denied said to those who have believed, “Follow our path, and we will carry your offenses.” Yet they are not ones to carry anything at all of their offenses; indeed, they are surely liars.
Research verse 29:12 →
وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ وَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ
And they will surely carry their loads, and loads along with their own loads; and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Standing about what they used to fabricate.
Research verse 29:13 →
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ
And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he stayed among them a thousand years, except fifty years; then the overwhelming flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.
Research verse 29:14 →
فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَأَصْحَٰبَ ٱلسَّفِينَةِ وَجَعَلْنَٰهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Then We delivered him and the companions of the ship, and We made it a sign for the worlds.
Research verse 29:15 →
وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
And Abraham, when he said to his people, “Serve Allah and be wary of Him; that is better for you, if you are (truly) knowing.”
Research verse 29:16 →
إِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْثَٰنًا وَتَخْلُقُونَ إِفْكًا إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا فَٱبْتَغُوا۟ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرِّزْقَ وَٱعْبُدُوهُ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
You are only serving, apart from Allah, mere idols, and you are fabricating a lie. Indeed, those whom you serve, apart from Allah, do not possess any provision for you; so seek the provision with Allah, and serve Him, and show gratitude to Him. To Him you are returned.
Research verse 29:17 →
وَإِن تُكَذِّبُوا۟ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
And if you deny, then already nations before you have denied; and upon the messenger there is nothing except the clear conveying.
Research verse 29:18 →
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥٓ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
Have they not seen how Allah initiates the creation, then He brings it back? Indeed, that is easy for Allah.
Research verse 29:19 →
قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ بَدَأَ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ ٱللَّهُ يُنشِئُ ٱلنَّشْأَةَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Say, “Travel through the land, then look how He began the creation; then Allah brings into being the later arising. Indeed, Allah is powerful over every thing.”
Research verse 29:20 →
يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرْحَمُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُقْلَبُونَ
He chastises whomever He wills, and He has mercy upon whomever He wills, and to Him you will be turned back.
Research verse 29:21 →
وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
And you are not ones who can thwart [Him] on the earth nor in the sky, and you have, apart from Allah, no ally and no helper.
Research verse 29:22 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِقَآئِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَئِسُوا۟ مِن رَّحْمَتِى وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
And those who have denied the signs of Allah and the encounter with Him – those are the ones who have despaired of My mercy, and those – for them is a painful punishment.
Research verse 29:23 →
فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنجَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
So the only response of his people was that they said, “Kill him or burn him,” then Allah delivered him from the fire. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who are trusting.
Research verse 29:24 →
وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْثَٰنًا مَّوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ
And he said, “You have only taken, apart from Allah, idols — an affection between you in the lowly life. Then on the Day of Standing, some of you will reject some, and some of you will curse some; and your shelter is the Fire, and you have no helpers.”
Research verse 29:25 →
فَـَٔامَنَ لَهُۥ لُوطٌ وَقَالَ إِنِّى مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
So Lot trusted in him, and he said, “Indeed, I am one who migrates to my Lord; indeed, it is He — He (alone) who is the Mighty, the Wise.”
Research verse 29:26 →
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِ ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ أَجْرَهُۥ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
And We granted him Isaac and Jacob, and We placed within his descendants the prophethood and the Scripture; and We gave him his recompense in this nearer life, and indeed, in the later one he is surely among the sound-doers.
Research verse 29:27 →
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, “You certainly come to the outrageous indecency—none from among all communities ever preceded you in it.”
Research verse 29:28 →
أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِى نَادِيكُمُ ٱلْمُنكَرَ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
Do you indeed approach the men, and cut off the path, and you come with the objectionable in your public gathering? But the response of his people was only that they said, “Bring us the punishment of God, if you are among the truthful.”
Research verse 29:29 →
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
He said, “My Lord, help me against the people who cause corruption.”
Research verse 29:30 →
وَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُهْلِكُوٓا۟ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ
And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said, “We are destroyers of the people of this town; indeed, its people have been wrongdoers.”
Research verse 29:31 →
قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطًا قَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن فِيهَا لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ كَانَتْ مِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ
He said, “Indeed, Lot is in it.” They said, “We are more knowing of who is in it. We will surely deliver him and his people, except his woman; she was of those who remained behind.”
Research verse 29:32 →
وَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِىٓءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ
And when Our messengers came to Lot, it was made bad for him because of them, and he was constrained in capacity on their account. And they said, “Do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, we are ones who deliver you and your family—except your wife; she has been among those who remain behind.”
Research verse 29:33 →
إِنَّا مُنزِلُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ
Indeed, We are ones who bring down upon the people of this town a torment from the sky because of how they have been defiantly departing from bounds.
Research verse 29:34 →
وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَا مِنْهَآ ءَايَةًۢ بَيِّنَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
And We certainly left from it a clear sign for a people who apply reason.
Research verse 29:35 →
وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا فَقَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱرْجُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
And to Madyan, [We sent] their brother Shuʿayb, and he said, “My people, serve Allah, and hope for the Last Day, and do not go about in the land as corrupters.”
Research verse 29:36 →
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ فِى دَارِهِمْ جَٰثِمِينَ
So they denied him, and the trembling seized them, and they became in their dwelling fallen motionless.
Research verse 29:37 →
وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَا۟ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَٰكِنِهِمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا۟ مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ
And (likewise) ‘Ād and Thamūd — and it has become evident to you from their dwellings — and Satan adorned their deeds for them, so he turned them away from the path, while they had been perceiving.
Research verse 29:38 →
وَقَٰرُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ سَٰبِقِينَ
And [likewise] Qarun, and Pharaoh, and Haman. And indeed Moses came to them with the clear evidences, but they acted as great ones in the land, and they were not ones who could get ahead.
Research verse 29:39 →
فَكُلًّا أَخَذْنَا بِذَنۢبِهِۦ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ أَخَذَتْهُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ أَغْرَقْنَا وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
So each one We seized for his own tail‑offense: among them were those upon whom We sent a stone‑flinger, and among them were those whom the piercing cry seized, and among them were those with whom We caved in the earth, and among them were those whom We drowned. And God was not to wrong them, but they themselves were wronging their own selves.
Research verse 29:40 →
مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ كَمَثَلِ ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ ٱتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ ٱلْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
The likeness of those who have taken, apart from Allah, protectors is like the likeness of the spider: it has taken a house. And indeed the feeblest of houses is surely the house of the spider, if only they were knowing.
Research verse 29:41 →
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَىْءٍ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Indeed, Allah knows whatever they call to, apart from Him, of anything; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
Research verse 29:42 →
وَتِلْكَ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ وَمَا يَعْقِلُهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْعَٰلِمُونَ
And those are the parables We set forth for the people, but none grasps them except the knowledgeable.
Research verse 29:43 →
خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth. Indeed, in that is surely a sign for the believers.
Research verse 29:44 →
ٱتْلُ مَآ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْفَحْشَآءِ وَٱلْمُنكَرِ وَلَذِكْرُ ٱللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ
Recite what has been inspired to you from the Book, and uphold the prayer. Indeed, the prayer restrains from the outrageous and the repudiated; and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows what you craft.
Research verse 29:45 →
وَلَا تُجَٰدِلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ وَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَٰهُنَا وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ وَٰحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ
And do not dispute with the People of the Book except by means of that which is best, except those of them who have done wrong; and say, “We have trusted in what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to you, and our God and your God is One, and we are ones who submit to Him.”
Research verse 29:46 →
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَمِنْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِهِۦ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
And thus We have sent down to you the Book; so those to whom We have given the Book believe in it, and among these are some who believe in it, and none repudiates Our signs except the concealers (of truth).
Research verse 29:47 →
وَمَا كُنتَ تَتْلُوا۟ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ مِن كِتَٰبٍ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُۥ بِيَمِينِكَ إِذًا لَّٱرْتَابَ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ
And you had not been reciting, before it, any writing; nor were you tracing it with your right hand. Otherwise, those who nullify (the truth) would surely have fallen into doubt.
Research verse 29:48 →
بَلْ هُوَ ءَايَٰتٌۢ بَيِّنَٰتٌ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَّا ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
No indeed; it is clear signs within the chests of those who have been given knowledge, and none rejects Our signs except the wrongdoers.
Research verse 29:49 →
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْـَٔايَٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
And they said, “Why have signs not been sent down upon him from his Lord?” Say, “The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner.”
Research verse 29:50 →
أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Has it then not sufficed them that We have sent down to you the Book, which is recited to them? Indeed, in that there is surely a mercy and a reminder for a people who trust.
Research verse 29:51 →
قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ
Say, “Allah is enough as a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. And those who have trusted in what is null and have denied Allah – those, they are the losers.”
Research verse 29:52 →
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
And they urge you to hasten the punishment; and were it not for a specified term, the punishment would certainly have come to them, yet it will indeed come upon them suddenly while they are not aware.
Research verse 29:53 →
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
They urge you to hasten the punishment, while indeed Hell is surely encompassing the deniers.
Research verse 29:54 →
يَوْمَ يَغْشَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
A Day when the punishment overwhelms them from above them and from beneath their feet, and it says, “Taste what you used to do.”
Research verse 29:55 →
يَٰعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ أَرْضِى وَٰسِعَةٌ فَإِيَّٰىَ فَٱعْبُدُونِ
O My servants who have attained faith, indeed My earth is spacious, so Me alone, then, serve.
Research verse 29:56 →
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Every self is one that tastes death; then to Us you are returned.
Research verse 29:57 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ
And those who have believed and done the sound deeds – We will surely lodge them in chambers from the Garden, beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; how excellent is the reward of the workers.
Research verse 29:58 →
ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
Those who endured, and upon their Lord they place their trust.
Research verse 29:59 →
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَآبَّةٍ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا ٱللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
And how many a moving creature there is that does not carry its provision—Allah provides for it and for you; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Research verse 29:60 →
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
And if you were indeed to ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?” they would surely say, “Allah.” So how are they turned away?
Research verse 29:61 →
ٱللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Allah spreads out the provision for whom He wills among His servants, and He measures it out for him. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of every thing.
Research verse 29:62 →
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
And if you were to ask them, “Who sent down water from the sky and thereby gave life to the earth after its death?” they would surely say, “Allah.” Say, “All praise belongs to Allah.” Rather, most of them do not use reason.
Research verse 29:63 →
وَمَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ وَإِنَّ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ لَهِىَ ٱلْحَيَوَانُ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
And this lowly life is nothing but distraction and play, while the Abode of the Later (life) – it is the (true) living, if only they were knowing.
Research verse 29:64 →
فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
So when they board the ship, they call upon Allah, purifying the judgment for Him; then when He rescues them to the dry land, there they are, joining [others] with Him.
Research verse 29:65 →
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
so that they are ungrateful for what We have brought to them, and so that they may enjoy themselves; then they will soon know.
Research verse 29:66 →
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا ءَامِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ ٱلنَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ أَفَبِٱلْبَٰطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ يَكْفُرُونَ
Have they not seen that We have made a sanctuary, secure, while people are being snatched away from all around them? So do they then believe in what is null and void, and in the favor of Allah they are ungrateful?
Research verse 29:67 →
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُۥٓ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ
And who is more unjust than one who fabricates a lie against Allah, or denies the truth when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell a dwelling-place for the deniers?
Research verse 29:68 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُوا۟ فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمَعَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
And those who strive with all effort concerning Us – We will surely guide them to Our paths; and indeed, Allah is surely with the doers of good.
Research verse 29:69 →
