طسٓ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ
Ṭā Sīn. These are the signs of the Recitation and of a clarifying Book,
Research verse 27:1 →
هُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
A guidance and a glad announcement for the believers
Research verse 27:2 →
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
Those who uphold the prayer, and give the zakah, and it is the Hereafter that they, they are certain of.
Research verse 27:3 →
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
Indeed, those who do not trust in the Later [life]—We have made their deeds seem attractive to them, so they wander in bewilderment.
Research verse 27:4 →
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ
Those are the ones for whom there is the evil of the punishment, and in the Later [Life] it is they who are the most losing.
Research verse 27:5 →
وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ
And indeed, you are surely being made to receive the Recitation from the very presence of One who is wise, all‑knowing.
Research verse 27:6 →
إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ
When Moses said to his family, “Indeed, I have perceived a fire; I will soon bring you from it some news, or I will bring you a flaming brand, so that you might warm yourselves.”
Research verse 27:7 →
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Then when he came to it, he was called: “Blessed is whoever is in the fire and whoever is around it. And far above is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.”
Research verse 27:8 →
يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
“O Moses, indeed it is I — Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.”
Research verse 27:9 →
وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّى لَا يَخَافُ لَدَىَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
And throw down your staff. Then when he saw it quivering, as though it were a serpent, he turned away, retreating, and did not turn back. “O Moses, do not fear; indeed, the messengers do not fear in My presence.”
Research verse 27:10 →
إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًۢا بَعْدَ سُوٓءٍ فَإِنِّى غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
except whoever has done wrong, then replaced [it] with a fine [deed] after an evil [one]—for indeed I am Ever‑Forgiving, Ever‑Merciful.
Research verse 27:11 →
وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ
And insert your hand into your garment-opening; it will come out white, without any harm, as part of nine signs to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they had been a people who deviate.
Research verse 27:12 →
فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Then when Our signs came to them, bringing sight, they said, “This is evident magic.”
Research verse 27:13 →
وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
And they repudiated it, while their (own) selves were certain of it, out of wrongdoing and arrogance. So look how the outcome was for the corrupters.
Research verse 27:14 →
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ عِلْمًا وَقَالَا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And indeed We granted David and Solomon knowledge, and they both said, “The praise belongs to Allah, the One who has given us advantage over many of His believing servants.”
Research verse 27:15 →
وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَٰنُ دَاوُۥدَ وَقَالَ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ ٱلطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
And Solomon inherited David, and he said, “O people, we have been taught the speech of the birds, and we have been given out of everything. Indeed, this is surely the evident favor.”
Research verse 27:16 →
وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَٰنَ جُنُودُهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ
And Solomon’s forces of the jinn, and the humans, and the birds were gathered for him, so they were being held in order.
Research verse 27:17 →
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمْلُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ مَسَٰكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, “O ants, enter your dwellings, lest Solomon and his forces crush you while they are not aware.”
Research verse 27:18 →
فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
So he smiled, laughing at her speech, and said, “My Lord, dispose me to give thanks for Your favor which You have favored me and my parents with, and to do a sound deed that You are pleased with, and admit me, by Your mercy, among Your sound servants.”
Research verse 27:19 →
وَتَفَقَّدَ ٱلطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِىَ لَآ أَرَى ٱلْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ
And he inspected the birds and said, “What is [the matter] with me that I do not see the hoopoe, or has he been among the absent?”
Research verse 27:20 →
لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّى بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
I will surely punish him with a severe punishment, or I will surely slaughter him, or he must indeed come to me with a clear authority.
Research verse 27:21 →
فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِۦ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍۭ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ
So he remained away not for long, then said, “I have encompassed what you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Saba’ with a news of certainty.”
Research verse 27:22 →
إِنِّى وَجَدتُّ ٱمْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ
Indeed, I found a woman exercising authority over them, and she has been given from every thing, and she has a tremendous throne.
Research verse 27:23 →
وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ
I found her and her people bowing down to the sun, apart from Allah; and Satan made their deeds seem fair to them, so he turned them away from the path, and so they are not guided.
Research verse 27:24 →
أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى يُخْرِجُ ٱلْخَبْءَ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
so that they do not bow down to Allah, the One who brings out the hidden thing(s) in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you conceal and what you make public.
Research verse 27:25 →
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Allah—there is no god except Him, Lord of the tremendous Throne.
Research verse 27:26 →
قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
He said, “We shall look into this: have you been truthful, or have you been among the liars?”
Research verse 27:27 →
ٱذْهَب بِّكِتَٰبِى هَٰذَا فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Go with this my writing, then cast it to them; then turn away from them and then look: what is it that they return?
Research verse 27:28 →
قَالَتْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ إِنِّىٓ أُلْقِىَ إِلَىَّ كِتَٰبٌ كَرِيمٌ
She said, “O assembly, indeed a noble written message has been cast to me.”
Research verse 27:29 →
إِنَّهُۥ مِن سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَإِنَّهُۥ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
It is, indeed, from Solomon, and it is, indeed: “In the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Ever-Merciful.”
Research verse 27:30 →
أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَىَّ وَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ
[That you] not exalt yourselves above me, but come to me as ones who yield [themselves].
Research verse 27:31 →
قَالَتْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَفْتُونِى فِىٓ أَمْرِى مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا حَتَّىٰ تَشْهَدُونِ
She said, “O assembly, give me a legal opinion regarding my matter; I have not been one to finalize any matter until you bear witness.”
Research verse 27:32 →
قَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أُو۟لُوا۟ قُوَّةٍ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ وَٱلْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ فَٱنظُرِى مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ
They said, “We are possessors of strength and possessors of intense might, and the matter is up to you, so look and see what you will decide.”
Research verse 27:33 →
قَالَتْ إِنَّ ٱلْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا۟ قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوٓا۟ أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَآ أَذِلَّةً وَكَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ
She said, “Indeed, the kings—when they enter a town, they ruin it and make the mighty ones of its people lowly; and that is how they act.”
Research verse 27:34 →
وَإِنِّى مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنَاظِرَةٌۢ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
And I am indeed one who will send to them a gift, then I will observe what the envoys return with.
Research verse 27:35 →
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَآ ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّآ ءَاتَىٰكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ
So when he came to Solomon, he said, “Are you extending support to me with wealth? What Allah has given us is better than what He has given you. No, it is you who exult in your gift.”
Research verse 27:36 →
ٱرْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُم بِجُنُودٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَآ أَذِلَّةً وَهُمْ صَٰغِرُونَ
Return to them, for We will surely come to them with forces which they have no power to face, and We will surely drive them out from it as ones made low, while they are belittled.
Research verse 27:37 →
قَالَ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِى بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ
He said, “O eminent council, which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me as ones who have submitted?”
Research verse 27:38 →
قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ وَإِنِّى عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِىٌّ أَمِينٌ
A powerful one from among the jinn said, “I will bring it to you before you rise from your station, and indeed, regarding it I am surely strong and trustworthy.”
Research verse 27:39 →
قَالَ ٱلَّذِى عِندَهُۥ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِندَهُۥ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّى لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ ءَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّى غَنِىٌّ كَرِيمٌ
The one who had knowledge from the Book said, “I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.” Then when he saw it settled in place with him, he said, “This is from the bounty of my Lord, to test me: will I show gratitude or will I deny? And whoever shows gratitude, he only shows gratitude for his own self; and whoever denies, then indeed my Lord is self‑sufficient, generous.”
Research verse 27:40 →
قَالَ نَكِّرُوا۟ لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ أَتَهْتَدِىٓ أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ
He said, “Make her throne appear unfamiliar to her; we will observe whether she finds guidance or whether she will be among those who do not find guidance.”
Research verse 27:41 →
فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ
So when she came, it was said, “Is your throne like this?” She said, “It is as though it is he.” And we had been given the knowledge before her, and we had been ones who submit.
Research verse 27:42 →
وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَٰفِرِينَ
And what she had been worshipping apart from Allah had turned her away; indeed, she had been from a people who cover (the truth).
Research verse 27:43 →
قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدْخُلِى ٱلصَّرْحَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
It was said to her, “Enter the structure.” Then when she saw it, she supposed it to be a deep body of water and uncovered her shanks. He said, “It is a structure, smoothed, made of glass-like vessels.” She said, “My Lord, I have indeed wronged my self, and I have surrendered, along with Solomon, to God, Lord of the worlds.”
Research verse 27:44 →
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
And indeed We sent to Thamud their brother Ṣāliḥ: “Serve Allah,” then suddenly they were two factions, disputing.
Research verse 27:45 →
قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
He said, “My people, why do you seek to hasten the bad thing before the good? Why is it that you do not seek Allah’s covering‑forgiveness, so that you may be shown mercy?”
Research verse 27:46 →
قَالُوا۟ ٱطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ قَالَ طَٰٓئِرُكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ
They said, “We take a bad omen from you and from whoever is with you.” He said, “Your omen is with Allah; rather, you are a people who are being put to trial.”
Research verse 27:47 →
وَكَانَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ
And in the city there were nine bands who were causing ruin in the land and were not setting things right.
Research verse 27:48 →
قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ
They said, “Swear together by Allah that we will attack him by night, he and his people; then we will surely say to his close relative, ‘We did not witness the destruction of his people, and indeed, we are surely truthful.’ ”
Research verse 27:49 →
وَمَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرًا وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
So they devised a scheme, and We devised a scheme, while they were not aware.
Research verse 27:50 →
فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَٰهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
So look how the outcome of their plotting was: that We utterly destroyed them and their people, all together.
Research verse 27:51 →
فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةًۢ بِمَا ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
So those are their houses, collapsed and empty because of what they darkened (i.e., wronged). Indeed, in that is a sign for a people who know.
Research verse 27:52 →
وَأَنجَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ
And We delivered those who had attained faith and had been guarding themselves.
Research verse 27:53 →
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ
And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you come with the indecency while you are seeing?”
Research verse 27:54 →
أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ
Do you really come to the men, lustfully, instead of the women? No, you are a people who act ignorantly.
Research verse 27:55 →
فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
So the response of his people was nothing but that they said, “Drive out the household of Lot from your town; indeed, they are people who keep purifying themselves.”
Research verse 27:56 →
فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَٰهَا مِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ
So We delivered him and his household, except his wife; We had determined her to be among those who remained.
Research verse 27:57 →
وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
And We rained upon them a rain, so how bad was the rain of those who had been warned.
Research verse 27:58 →
قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ءَآللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Say, “The praise belongs to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better, or what they join (with Him)?”
Research verse 27:59 →
أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ حَدَآئِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنۢبِتُوا۟ شَجَرَهَآ أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ
Or [is better] the One who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you water from the sky, then by it We caused to grow gardens possessing delightful splendor — it was not for you to cause their trees to grow. Is there a god along with Allah? Rather, they are a people who deviate.
Research verse 27:60 →
أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَٰلَهَآ أَنْهَٰرًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Or [is better] the One who made the earth a place of settlement, and made rivers through its midst, and made for it anchoring [mountains], and made between the two seas a barrier? Is there a god along with Allah? No; rather, most of them do not know.
Research verse 27:61 →
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Or [is it better to worship] the One who answers the constrained one when he calls upon Him, and removes the bad, and makes you successors of the earth? Is there a god along with Allah? Little is it that you take heed.
Research verse 27:62 →
أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِى ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ وَمَن يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ تَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Or who is it that guides you in the darknesses of the land and the sea, and who sends the winds as a bearer of good news before His mercy? Is there a god along with Allah? Exalted is Allah above what they join (with Him).
Research verse 27:63 →
أَمَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Or [is it] the one who originates the creation, then brings it back, and who provides for you from the sky and the earth? Is there a god along with Allah? Say, “Bring your proof, if you are truthful.”
Research verse 27:64 →
قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْغَيْبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
Say, “None of whoever is in the heavens and the earth knows the hidden (unseen) except Allah; and they are not aware of when they will be raised.”
Research verse 27:65 →
بَلِ ٱدَّٰرَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ
No, their knowledge has (only) caught up with the Later (life); rather, they are in doubt about it; rather, they, concerning it, are blind.
Research verse 27:66 →
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا وَءَابَآؤُنَآ أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ
And those who have covered [the truth] say, “Is it when we have become dust, and our forefathers [too], that we are indeed to be brought out?”
Research verse 27:67 →
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَٰذَا نَحْنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Indeed, we have certainly been promised this — we and our forefathers before — this is nothing but writings of the former ones.
Research verse 27:68 →
قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Say, “Travel through the land, then look how the outcome of the criminals was.”
Research verse 27:69 →
وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُن فِى ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
And do not grieve over them, and do not be in constriction because of what they scheme.
Research verse 27:70 →
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
And they say, “When is this appointment, if you are truthful?”
Research verse 27:71 →
قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
Say, “It may be that some of what you are trying to hasten has already followed close upon you.”
Research verse 27:72 →
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
And indeed, your Lord is surely possessor of favor toward the people, but most of them do not show gratitude.
Research verse 27:73 →
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
And indeed, your Lord surely knows what their chests conceal and what they make public.
Research verse 27:74 →
وَمَا مِنْ غَآئِبَةٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ
And there is not a single hidden thing in the heaven or the earth but that it is in a clarifying writ.
Research verse 27:75 →
إِنَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَكْثَرَ ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
Indeed, this Qur’an recounts to the Children of Israel most of that in which they differ.
Research verse 27:76 →
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And indeed, it is surely guidance and mercy for the believers.
Research verse 27:77 →
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِۦ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Indeed, your Lord decides between them by His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing.
Research verse 27:78 →
فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنَّكَ عَلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُبِينِ
So place your trust upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the manifest truth.
Research verse 27:79 →
إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ
Indeed, you do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear the call when they turn away, retreating.
Research verse 27:80 →
وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
And you are not one to guide the blind away from their straying; you make none hear except those who trust in Our signs, so they are at peace (in willing submission).
Research verse 27:81 →
وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَآبَّةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ
And when the word falls due against them, We bring out for them a moving creature from the earth that speaks to them, [saying] that the people had not been certain about Our signs.
Research verse 27:82 →
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ
And on the Day We gather, from every community, a contingent from among those who deny Our signs, then they are held back in ranks.
Research verse 27:83 →
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُو قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِـَٔايَٰتِى وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا۟ بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Until, when they have come, He will say, “Did you deny My signs while you had not encompassed them with knowledge? Or what was it that you had been doing?”
Research verse 27:84 →
وَوَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
And the word fell upon them because of what they had wronged, so they do not speak.
Research verse 27:85 →
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Have they not seen that We made the night so that they may become still in it, and the day as one that enables seeing? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who trust (and thereby feel secure).
Research verse 27:86 →
وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَٰخِرِينَ
And [beware of] the Day when it will be blown in the trumpet, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be stricken with terror, except whom Allah wills; and all of them will come to Him utterly humbled.
Research verse 27:87 →
وَتَرَى ٱلْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ ٱلسَّحَابِ صُنْعَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ
And you see the mountains — you reckon them to be motionless, while they pass on like the passing of the clouds. This is the workmanship of Allah, the One who has made every thing thoroughly precise. Indeed, He is fully aware of what you do.
Research verse 27:88 →
مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ ءَامِنُونَ
Whoever comes with the good [deed]—then he will have better than it, and they will be secure from the panic of that Day.
Research verse 27:89 →
وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
And whoever comes with the bad deed – then their faces are cast down into the Fire: “Are you recompensed for anything except what you used to do?”
Research verse 27:90 →
إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْبَلْدَةِ ٱلَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُۥ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
I have only been commanded that I serve the Lord of this town, the One who has made it inviolable, and to Him belongs every thing; and I have been commanded that I be among those who submit.
Research verse 27:91 →
وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ
and that I recite the Qur’an. So whoever has followed guidance, then he only follows guidance for his own self; and whoever has gone astray, then say, “I am only one of the warners.”
Research verse 27:92 →
وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
And say, “The praise belongs to Allah. He will indeed show you His signs, then you will come to know them. And your Lord is not one who is heedless of what you do.”
Research verse 27:93 →
