وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًا
By those sent forth in what is recognized
Research verse 77:1 →
فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًا
Then by those that storm fiercely,
Research verse 77:2 →
وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا
and by those that disperse a dispersing,
Research verse 77:3 →
فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًا
and so (by) those who separate, with (decisive) separation,
Research verse 77:4 →
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا
then by those who cast forth a reminder,
Research verse 77:5 →
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
As an excuse or as a warning.
Research verse 77:6 →
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
What you are promised is indeed sure to come to pass.
Research verse 77:7 →
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
Then when the stars are effaced,
Research verse 77:8 →
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ
And when the sky is split open
Research verse 77:9 →
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
And when the mountains are blasted away
Research verse 77:10 →
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
And when the messengers are given a set time,
Research verse 77:11 →
لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
For which Day has it been deferred?
Research verse 77:12 →
لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
For the Day of Separation.
Research verse 77:13 →
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
And what has made you realize what the Day of Separation is?
Research verse 77:14 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the deniers.
Research verse 77:15 →
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Did We not cause the first ones to perish?
Research verse 77:16 →
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
Then We follow them up with the later ones.
Research verse 77:17 →
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Thus do We act with the criminals.
Research verse 77:18 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the falsifiers.
Research verse 77:19 →
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ
Did We not create you from a weak fluid?
Research verse 77:20 →
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
So We made it in a well-settled, secure place.
Research verse 77:21 →
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
up to a known measure
Research verse 77:22 →
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ
So We measured (it) out; and how excellent are We as measurers.
Research verse 77:23 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the falsifiers.
Research verse 77:24 →
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
Have We not made the earth a gatherer
Research verse 77:25 →
أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا
[as] living and [as] dead
Research verse 77:26 →
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا
And We placed in it towering anchors, and We gave you to drink water that is very palatable.
Research verse 77:27 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the liars.
Research verse 77:28 →
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Move on toward that which you used to deny.
Research verse 77:29 →
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ
“Set out toward a shade possessing three branches.”
Research verse 77:30 →
لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
[It is] neither shading, nor does it spare [them] from the blaze.
Research verse 77:31 →
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
Indeed, it hurls out sparks like structures.
Research verse 77:32 →
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ
as if they were yellow (glowing) camels.
Research verse 77:33 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the falsifiers.
Research verse 77:34 →
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
This is a Day when they do not speak,
Research verse 77:35 →
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
and permission will not be given to them, so they would offer excuses.
Research verse 77:36 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the falsifiers.
Research verse 77:37 →
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
This is the Day of Separation: We have gathered you and the former ones.
Research verse 77:38 →
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
So if you have any scheme, then scheme against Me.
Research verse 77:39 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the deniers.
Research verse 77:40 →
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Indeed, the ones who are mindful (of God) will be in shades and springs.
Research verse 77:41 →
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
And fruits from what they desire,
Research verse 77:42 →
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Eat and drink, pleasantly and without harm, for what you used to do.
Research verse 77:43 →
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Indeed, it is in this way that We recompense the doers of good.
Research verse 77:44 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the falsifiers.
Research verse 77:45 →
كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while; indeed, you are criminals.
Research verse 77:46 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the falsifiers.
Research verse 77:47 →
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
And when it is said to them, “Bow down,” they do not bow down.
Research verse 77:48 →
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Ruin, on that Day, is for the deniers.
Research verse 77:49 →
فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
So in what discourse, after it, will they believe?
