تَبَٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Abundantly blessed is the One in whose hand is the dominion, and He is powerful over every thing.
Research verse 67:1 →
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ
The One who created death and life so that He may test you [to see] which of you is best in deed; and He is the Mighty, the Covering-Forgiver.
Research verse 67:2 →
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مِن تَفَٰوُتٍ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍ
The One who created seven heavens in layers: you do not see in the creation of the All-Merciful any disparity, so return the sight—do you see any fissures?
Research verse 67:3 →
ثُمَّ ٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ
Then turn the sight back again and again; the sight will turn back to you, driven away, while it is worn out.
Research verse 67:4 →
وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
And We have indeed adorned the nearest sky with lamps, and We made them projectiles against the devils, and We have made ready for them the punishment of the Blaze.
Research verse 67:5 →
وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
And for those who have covered up [the truth] regarding their Lord, there is the correctional suffering of Hell—and how miserable a destination it is.
Research verse 67:6 →
إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ
When they are cast into it, they hear for it a gasping sound while it seethes.

تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ
It almost tears itself apart from rage. Whenever a multitude is cast into it, its keepers question them, “Did no warner come to you?”
Research verse 67:8 →
قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ كَبِيرٍ
They will say, “Yes indeed, a warner did come to us, but we denied, and we said, ‘Allah has not sent down anything at all; you are nothing but in great misguidance.’”
Research verse 67:9 →
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
And they will say, “If only we had been listening or using our reason, we would not have been among the companions of the Blaze.”
Research verse 67:10 →
فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
So they acknowledged their liability, so [away with / crushed be] the companions of the Blaze.
Research verse 67:11 →
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
Indeed, those who are in awe of their Lord in the unseen—for them is a covering‑forgiveness and a great recompense.
Research verse 67:12 →
وَأَسِرُّوا۟ قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِ ٱجْهَرُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
And keep your speech hidden, or make it loud; indeed, He is all-knowing of what is [truly] within the chests.
Research verse 67:13 →
أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
Does the One who created not know, while He is the Gentle, the All‑Aware?
Research verse 67:14 →
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ
He is the One who has made the earth lowly-yielding for you, so walk in its flanks and eat from His provision, and to Him is the out-spreading (forth).
Research verse 67:15 →
ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُورُ
Have you felt secure from the One who is in the heaven that He would cause the earth to sink down with you, and then suddenly it is heaving to and fro?
Research verse 67:16 →
أَمْ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ
Or do you feel secure from Him who is in the heaven that He would not send against you a stone‑storm? Then you will know how My warning is.
Research verse 67:17 →
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
And those before them certainly cried lies, so how was My disowning?
Research verse 67:18 →
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَٰٓفَّٰتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۭ بَصِيرٌ
Have they then not seen the birds above them, with wings outstretched and drawing them in? None restrains them except the All-Merciful; indeed, He is seeing of every thing.
Research verse 67:19 →
أَمَّنْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ جُندٌ لَّكُمْ يَنصُرُكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنِ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ إِلَّا فِى غُرُورٍ
Or who is this – the one who is a force for you, that helps you apart from the All-Merciful? The ones who cover [the truth] are only in delusion.
Research verse 67:20 →
أَمَّنْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَرْزُقُكُمْ إِنْ أَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهُۥ بَل لَّجُّوا۟ فِى عُتُوٍّ وَنُفُورٍ
Or who is this — the one who would provide for you if He were to hold back His provision? No; rather, they have persisted in outrageous arrogance and recoiling aversion.
Research verse 67:21 →
أَفَمَن يَمْشِى مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِۦٓ أَهْدَىٰٓ أَمَّن يَمْشِى سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
So is one who walks, fallen on his face, more guided, or one who walks upright upon a straight path?
Research verse 67:22 →
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
Say, “He is the One who brought you into being and made for you the hearing, and the sights, and the hearts; little is it that you show gratitude.”
Research verse 67:23 →
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Say, “He is the One who has brought you into being on the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.”
Research verse 67:24 →
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
And they say, “When is this appointment, if you are truthful?”
Research verse 67:25 →
قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Say, “The knowledge is only with God, and I am only a manifest warner.”
Research verse 67:26 →
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيٓـَٔتْ وُجُوهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَقِيلَ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَدَّعُونَ
Then when they see it close at hand, the faces of those who covered [the truth] are made miserable, and it is said, “This is what you used to demand.”
Research verse 67:27 →
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِىَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Say, “Have you considered: if Allah destroys me and whoever is with me, or shows mercy to us, then who will grant the disbelievers protection from a painful punishment?”
Research verse 67:28 →
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Say, “He is the All‑Merciful; we have trusted in Him, and upon Him we have placed our reliance. Then you will come to know who it is that is in evident misguidance.”
Research verse 67:29 →
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَآءٍ مَّعِينٍۭ
Say, “Have you considered: if your water were to become deeply sunken, then who could bring you a visible, accessible water?”
Research verse 67:30 →
