تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ نَذِيرًا
Exalted in blessing is the One who sent down the Criterion upon His servant so that he may be a warner to all communities.
Research verse 25:1 →
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقْدِيرًا
The One to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and who has not taken a child, and there has never been for Him any partner in the dominion; and He created every thing, then measured it with an exact measuring.
Research verse 25:2 →
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً لَّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْـًٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَوٰةً وَلَا نُشُورًا
And they have taken, apart from Him, gods that do not create anything while they themselves are created, and they do not possess for themselves [the power of] harm nor benefit, and they do not possess [power over] death, nor life, nor resurgence.
Research verse 25:3 →
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ ءَاخَرُونَ فَقَدْ جَآءُو ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا
And those who have covered [the truth] say, “This is nothing but a fabrication he has forged, and other people have helped him with it.” So they have indeed come with wrongdoing and falsehood.
Research verse 25:4 →
وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٱكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِىَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
And they say, “Writings of the former ones which he has had written down, so they are dictated to him morning and evening.”
Research verse 25:5 →
قُلْ أَنزَلَهُ ٱلَّذِى يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
Say, “The One who knows the secret in the heavens and the earth has sent it down; indeed, He has always been All-Covering in forgiveness, ever-merciful.”
Research verse 25:6 →
وَقَالُوا۟ مَالِ هَٰذَا ٱلرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِى فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِيرًا
And they said, “What is [with] this messenger, that he eats food and walks in the marketplaces? Why has an angel not been sent down to him, so that he would be, together with him, a warner?”
Research verse 25:7 →
أَوْ يُلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَّسْحُورًا
Or a treasure is cast down to him, or he has a garden from which he eats.” And the darkeners (wrongdoers) said, “You are following nothing but a man under a spell.”
Research verse 25:8 →
ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًا
Look how they set up the likenesses for you, then they have gone astray, so they are unable to [find] any path.
Research verse 25:9 →
تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِن شَآءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًا مِّن ذَٰلِكَ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَيَجْعَل لَّكَ قُصُورًۢا
Exalted in blessing is the One who, if He willed, could make for you something better than that: gardens beneath which rivers flow, and could make for you fortified dwellings.
Research verse 25:10 →
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا
No, rather they have denied the Hour, and We have made ready, for whoever has denied the Hour, a blazing fire.
Research verse 25:11 →
إِذَا رَأَتْهُم مِّن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا
When it sees them from a distant place, they will hear for it a raging and a gasping.
Research verse 25:12 →
وَإِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُّقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْا۟ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًا
And when they are cast into it, into a constricted place, coupled together, there they will call out for ruin.
Research verse 25:13 →
لَّا تَدْعُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَٰحِدًا وَٱدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا
“Do not call today for a single ruin; rather, call for many ruins.”
Research verse 25:14 →
قُلْ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ ٱلْخُلْدِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَآءً وَمَصِيرًا
Say, “Is that better, or the Garden of abiding, which has been promised to those who are mindful (of God)? It has been for them a recompense and an outcome.”
Research verse 25:15 →
لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَٰلِدِينَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَّسْـُٔولًا
For them therein is whatever they may will, abiding permanently. It has been upon your Lord a promise to be asked about.
Research verse 25:16 →
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِيلَ
And [remember] the Day He gathers them and what they serve apart from Allah, then He will say, “Was it you who caused these My servants to stray, or did they themselves stray from the path?”
Research verse 25:17 →
قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِى لَنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَلَٰكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا۟ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بُورًا
They said, “Glory be to You! It was never fitting for us that we take, apart from You, any protectors; but You gave them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgot the Reminder, and they became a people utterly ruined.”
Research verse 25:18 →
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًا وَمَن يَظْلِم مِّنكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا
So they have indeed denied you concerning what you say; then you are not able [to effect] any turning away, nor [to obtain] any help. And whoever among you darkens [others / does wrong], We will make him taste a great punishment.
Research verse 25:19 →
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا
And We did not send before you, from among the envoys, any except that they surely ate food and walked in the marketplaces. And We have made some of you a test for others: will you endure? And your Lord has always been Seeing.
Research verse 25:20 →
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا لَقَدِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا
And those who do not anticipate meeting Us say, “If only the angels were sent down to us, or we could see our Lord!” They have indeed sought to make themselves great within themselves and have exceeded all bounds with a tremendous exceeding.
Research verse 25:21 →
يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا
The Day they see the angels, there will be no glad tidings that Day for the criminals, and they will say, “A prohibition, strictly forbidden.”
Research verse 25:22 →
وَقَدِمْنَآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هَبَآءً مَّنثُورًا
And We advanced towards what they had done of deed, then We made it a scattered motelike dust.
Research verse 25:23 →
أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُّسْتَقَرًّا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًا
The companions of the Garden, on that Day, are better in [their] place of settlement and more excellent in [their] place of midday repose.
Research verse 25:24 →
وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِٱلْغَمَٰمِ وَنُزِّلَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ تَنزِيلًا
And [remember] the Day when the sky will split apart with the obscuring [cloud-mass], and the angels will be made to descend, a [true] sending-down.
Research verse 25:25 →
ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَسِيرًا
The dominion, on that Day, in truth belongs to the All-Merciful, and it will be a hard Day upon the deniers.
Research verse 25:26 →
وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا
And [beware of] the Day when the wrongdoer will bite upon his two hands, saying, “If only I had taken a path along with the Messenger!”
Research verse 25:27 →
يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا
“Alas for me! If only I had not taken So-and-so as an intimate companion.”
Research verse 25:28 →
لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِى وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ لِلْإِنسَٰنِ خَذُولًا
He certainly led me astray from the Reminder after it had come to me, and the satan has always been utterly abandoning toward the human.
Research verse 25:29 →
وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا
And the Messenger will say, “My Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’an as something forsaken.”
Research verse 25:30 →
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا
And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals; yet sufficient is your Lord as a guide and as a helper.
Research verse 25:31 →
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ جُمْلَةً وَٰحِدَةً كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ وَرَتَّلْنَٰهُ تَرْتِيلًا
And those who have covered [the truth] say, “Why has the Qur’an not been sent down upon him as one collected whole?” Thus [it is] so that We may make firm, by it, your heart; and We have arranged it in a well‑ordered recitation.
Research verse 25:32 →
وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا
And they do not come to you with any comparison but that We bring to you the truth and better in exposition.
Research verse 25:33 →
ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
Those who are herded on their faces toward Hell—those are worse in position and further astray in path.
Research verse 25:34 →
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ وَزِيرًا
And indeed We gave Moses the Writing, and We made, along with him, his brother Aaron as a supporter.
Research verse 25:35 →
فَقُلْنَا ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَٰهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا
So We said, “Go, both of you, to the people who denied Our signs,” then We annihilated them with utter annihilation.
Research verse 25:36 →
وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا۟ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةً وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
And the people of Noah—when they denied the messengers, We drowned them and made them a sign for the people; and We have made ready for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
Research verse 25:37 →
وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَا۟ وَأَصْحَٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًۢا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرًا
And ʿĀd, and Thamūd, and the companions of the well, and many generations in between that.
Research verse 25:38 →
وَكُلًّا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا
And each of them We set forth for him the parables, and each of them We shattered with utter shattering.
Research verse 25:39 →
وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَى ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا
And they have indeed passed by the town which was rained upon with a rain of evil. Have they then not been seeing it? Rather, they were not hoping for a rising again.
Research verse 25:40 →
وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولًا
And whenever they see you, they take you for nothing but mockery: “Is this the one whom God has raised as a messenger?”
Research verse 25:41 →
إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوْلَآ أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
He indeed almost led us astray from our gods, if not that we endured regarding them. But they will soon know, when they see the punishment, who is further astray in (his) path.
Research verse 25:42 →
أَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا
Have you considered the one who has taken his own desire as his god? So will you be a trustee in charge over him?
Research verse 25:43 →
أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
Or do you reckon that most of them listen or use their reason? They are nothing but like the grazing animals; rather, they are further sunk away from the path.
Research verse 25:44 →
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا
Have you not seen toward your Lord, how He has stretched out the shade? And if He had willed, He would have made it still; then We made the sun over it as an indicator.
Research verse 25:45 →
ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا
Then We drew it in towards Us with an easy drawing-in.
Research verse 25:46 →
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورًا
And He is the One who made the night for you as a covering, and sleep as a cutting-off (from activity), and made the day for rising forth.
Research verse 25:47 →
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً طَهُورًا
And He is the One who has sent the winds as bearers of good news before His mercy, and We sent down from the sky water that is thoroughly purifying.
Research verse 25:48 →
لِّنُحْـِۧىَ بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَآ أَنْعَٰمًا وَأَنَاسِىَّ كَثِيرًا
so that We may revive with it a dead land, and We give it to drink—of what We have created—many grazing animals and many human beings.
Research verse 25:49 →
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَٰهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكْثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا
And We have certainly varied it among them so that they might remember; but most of the people refused nothing but extreme ingratitude.
Research verse 25:50 →
وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَّذِيرًا
And if We had willed, We would surely have raised up in every town a warner.
Research verse 25:51 →
فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَجَٰهِدْهُم بِهِۦ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا
So do not obey the concealers, and struggle against them with it in a tremendous struggle.
Research verse 25:52 →
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا
And He is the One who let loose the two seas: this one is palatable, very fresh, and this one is salty, intensely briny; and He placed between them a dividing‑barrier and a strictly forbidden partition.
Research verse 25:53 →
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا
And He is the One who created, from water, a human being, then made him [a being of] kinship by blood and kinship by marriage; and your Lord has always been fully capable.
Research verse 25:54 →
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَكَانَ ٱلْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرًا
And they serve, apart from Allah, what does not benefit them and does not harm them; and the one who covers [the truth] is a supporter against his Lord.
Research verse 25:55 →
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
And We have not sent you except as a bearer of good news and a warner.
Research verse 25:56 →
قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا
Say, “I do not ask you for it any reward, except that whoever wills may take a path towards his Lord.”
Research verse 25:57 →
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا
And rely upon the Living, the One who does not die; and declare His transcendence along with praise of Him; and sufficient is He, as regards the tails (consequences) of His servants, as One fully aware.
Research verse 25:58 →
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ فَسْـَٔلْ بِهِۦ خَبِيرًا
The One who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, then rose perfectly over the Throne — the All‑Merciful; so ask, about Him, one who is fully informed.
Research verse 25:59 →
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا
And when it is said to them, “Fall down in humility to the All-Merciful,” they say, “And what is the All-Merciful? Shall we fall down in humility to what you command us?” And it only increased them in fleeing aversion.
Research verse 25:60 →
تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًا وَقَمَرًا مُّنِيرًا
Exalted in blessing is the One who has made in the sky constellations, and has made within it a lamp and a luminous moon.
Research verse 25:61 →
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا
And He is the One who made the night and the day succeeding one another, for whoever wants to take heed or wants to be grateful.
Research verse 25:62 →
وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلْجَٰهِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا
And the servants of the All-Merciful are those who walk upon the earth with calm modesty, and when the ignorant address them, they say [words of] peace.
Research verse 25:63 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَٰمًا
And those who pass the night for their Lord, prostrating and standing.
Research verse 25:64 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا
And those who say, “Our Lord, turn away from us the torment of Hell; indeed, its torment has always been a binding liability.”
Research verse 25:65 →
إِنَّهَا سَآءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
Indeed, it is wretched as a place of settling and standing.
Research verse 25:66 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا۟ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًا
And those who, when they spend, are neither excessive nor tight‑fisted, but there is, between that, an upright balance.
Research verse 25:67 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا
And those who do not call, along with Allah, upon another god, and do not kill the living self which Allah has made inviolable, except with the truth, and do not commit fornication; and whoever does that will encounter a burden of sin.
Research verse 25:68 →
يُضَٰعَفْ لَهُ ٱلْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا
The punishment will be multiplied for him on the Day of Standing, and he will remain in it, disgraced.
Research verse 25:69 →
إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَٰلِحًا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ حَسَنَٰتٍ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
Except for whoever turned back, and believed, and did a sound deed – then such are the ones whose bad deeds Allah will exchange for good deeds; and Allah has always been All‑covering‑of‑fault, Ever‑merciful.
Research verse 25:70 →
وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَإِنَّهُۥ يَتُوبُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَتَابًا
And whoever turns back and does what is sound, then indeed he is turning back to Allah with a (true) turning back.
Research verse 25:71 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًا
And those who do not bear witness to falsehood, and when they pass by the idle talk, they pass by as noble ones.
Research verse 25:72 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا۟ عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا
And those who, when they are reminded by the signs of their Lord, do not collapse upon them as deaf and blind.
Research verse 25:73 →
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَٱجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
And those who say, “Our Master, grant to us, from our pairs and our offspring, a coolness of eyes, and make us, for the ones who are mindful, a leader.”
Research verse 25:74 →
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ ٱلْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَٰمًا
Those are the ones who will be recompensed with the elevated chamber for how they endured, and they will be made to encounter therein a greeting and peace.
Research verse 25:75 →
خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
Remaining therein, excellent it is as a place of settling and standing.
Research verse 25:76 →
قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُا۟ بِكُمْ رَبِّى لَوْلَا دُعَآؤُكُمْ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًۢا
Say, “My Lord does not concern Himself with you were it not for your calling. Yet you have indeed denied, so it is soon going to be an inescapable obligation.”
Research verse 25:77 →
