Surah At-Tawbah (9:81)

فَرِحَ ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلَٰفَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوٓا۟ أَن يُجَٰهِدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَنفِرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْحَرِّ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرًّا لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَفْقَهُونَ

Those left behind rejoiced in their sitting back away from the Messenger of Allah, and they disliked that they should strive with their wealth and their selves in the path of Allah, and they said, “Do not go forth in the heat.” Say, “The fire of Jahannam is more intense in heat,” if only they were to understand.
