Surah Al-A'raf (7:141)

وَإِذْ أَنجَيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ

And when We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh, subjecting you to the worst of the torment: they were killing your sons and letting your women live; and in that was a tremendous test from your Lord.
