Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60:9)

إِنَّمَا يَنْهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ قَٰتَلُوكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَأَخْرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ وَظَٰهَرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ إِخْرَاجِكُمْ أَن تَوَلَّوْهُمْ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

Allah only forbids you, concerning those who have fought you in the matter of the judgment/order, and drove you out from your dwellings, and backed one another in driving you out, that you take them as patrons; and whoever takes them as patrons, then those – they are the wrongdoers.
