Surah Al-Hadid (57:14)
يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنتُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَٱرْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْأَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ
They will call out to them, “Were we not with you?” They will say, “Yes indeed, but you put your own selves to trial, and you kept waiting, and you fell into doubt, and the wishful fancies deluded you, until the command of Allah came, and the arch‑deceiver deluded you concerning Allah.”
