Surah An-Nisa (4:97)
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا۟ فِيمَ كُنتُمْ قَالُوا۟ كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ أَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَرْضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُوا۟ فِيهَا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَسَآءَتْ مَصِيرًا
Indeed, those whom the angels take fully (in death) while they are darkening / wronging their own selves, they (the angels) say, “What were you in?” They say, “We were being weakened / rendered weak in the land.” They say, “Was not Allah’s earth spacious, so that you could emigrate within it?” So those—their shelter is Jahannam, and wretched is it as an outcome.
