Surah An-Nisa (4:6)
وَٱبْتَلُوا۟ ٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغُوا۟ ٱلنِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ ءَانَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَٱدْفَعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوهَآ إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُوا۟ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ حَسِيبًا
And put the orphans to the test until, when they reach [the age of] marriage; then if you discern in them sound maturity, hand over to them their wealth. And do not consume it in excess and in haste [out of eagerness] that they should grow up. And whoever is free of need, let him hold back; and whoever is in need, let him consume in an appropriate way. Then when you hand over to them their wealth, bring witnesses over them; and Allah suffices as Reckoner.
