Surah Al-Ahqaf (46:18)

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ

Those are the ones upon whom the statement has become binding, among communities that have already passed away before them of the jinn and humankind; indeed, they used to be losers.
