Surah Ghafir (40:35)

ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ

Those who contend regarding the signs of Allah without any authority that has come to them — it has become greatly loathsome (as) a detested thing with Allah and with those who have believed. Thus does Allah stamp upon every heart of one who is arrogant, overbearing.
