Surah Ali 'Imran (3:187)
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُۥ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ
And when Allah took the firm pledge from those who had been given the Book: “You will surely make it clear to the people and you will not conceal it.” Then they flung it away behind their backs and acquired through it a paltry price—how vile is what they are acquiring.
