Surah Ali 'Imran (3:183)
ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَآ أَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ ٱلنَّارُ قُلْ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِى بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَبِٱلَّذِى قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Those who said, “Indeed, Allah has imposed upon us that we are not to trust in any messenger until he comes to us with an offering which the fire consumes.” Say, “Messengers have already come to you before me with the clear proofs and with what you mentioned; so why did you kill them, if you are truthful?”
