Surah Ali 'Imran (3:164)
لَقَدْ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Allah has indeed bestowed [a gracious] favor upon the believers when He raised up among them a messenger from their own selves, reciting His signs to them, and refining them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, while they had surely been, before that, in evident error.
