Surah Ali 'Imran (3:146)

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِىٍّ قَٰتَلَ مَعَهُۥ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا۟ لِمَآ أَصَابَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا۟ وَمَا ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

And how many a prophet there was: with him many devoted ones (to the Lord) fought; yet they did not slacken because of what struck them in the path of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor did they yield, and Allah loves those who are steadfast.
