Surah Ali 'Imran (3:11)

كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ

[Their condition is] like the way of the people of Pharaoh and those before them: they belied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their tails (i.e., trailing consequences). And Allah is intense in the following‑up.
