Surah Al-Baqarah (2:93)
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَأُشْرِبُوا۟ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَأْمُرُكُم بِهِۦٓ إِيمَٰنُكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
And when We took your binding pledge and raised the Mount above you: “Hold firmly to what We have given you and listen.” They said, “We have heard and we have disobeyed.” And the calf was made to be drunk into their hearts through their denial. Say, “How vile is that which your faith commands you, if you are believers.”
