Surah Al-Baqarah (2:55)

وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى ٱللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ

And when you said, “O Moses, we will certainly not be secure in/with you until we see Allah openly,” then the thunderbolt seized you while you were looking on.
