Surah Al-Baqarah (2:280)

وَإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَىٰ مَيْسَرَةٍ وَأَن تَصَدَّقُوا۟ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

And if one is in hardship, then a postponement until ease; and that you remit (the due) as a charity is better for you, if you (truly) know.
