Surah Al-Baqarah (2:173)
إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ بِهِۦ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
He has only forbidden to you the dead (carcass), and the blood, and the flesh of the pig, and whatever has been vocally invoked for other than Allah. But whoever is compelled, without seeking (it) and without exceeding (the limit), then there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is All‑Covering (in forgiveness), Ever‑Merciful.
