Surah Al-Baqarah (2:17)
مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَلَمَّآ أَضَآءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُۥ ذَهَبَ ٱللَّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِى ظُلُمَٰتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ
Their likeness is like that of one who sought to kindle a fire; then, when it gave light to what was around him, Allah went off with their light and left them in darknesses, unable to see.
