Surah Al-Baqarah (2:167)
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُوا۟ مِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَٰرِجِينَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
And those who followed will say, “If only there were for us a return, then we would disown ourselves from them just as they disowned themselves from us.” Thus does Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them, while they are not ones to come out of the Fire.
