Surah An-Nur (24:60)
وَٱلْقَوَٰعِدُ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ٱلَّٰتِى لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَن يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيْرَ مُتَبَرِّجَٰتٍۭ بِزِينَةٍ وَأَن يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُنَّ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
And the seated ones among the women, those who no longer anticipate marriage—there is no burden upon them that they set down their garments, without flaunting with an adornment; yet that they seek to remain chaste is better for them. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
