Surah Taha (20:71)
قَالَ ءَامَنتُمْ لَهُۥ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحْرَ فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَٰفٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ فِى جُذُوعِ ٱلنَّخْلِ وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ أَيُّنَآ أَشَدُّ عَذَابًا وَأَبْقَىٰ
He said, “Have you trusted in him before I give you leave? Indeed, he is surely your great one who has taught you the sorcery. So I will most certainly cut off your hands and your feet in alternation, and I will most certainly crucify you on the trunks of the date‑palms, and you will surely know which of us is more intense in punishment and more enduring.”
