Surah Al-Kahf (18:58)

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ذُو ٱلرَّحْمَةِ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ بَل لَّهُم مَّوْعِدٌ لَّن يَجِدُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَوْئِلًا

And your Lord is the Forgiving, possessor of mercy. If He were to take them to task for what they have earned, He would indeed have hastened the punishment for them. But instead, for them there is an appointed time which they will never find any refuge away from.
