Surah Al-Isra (17:57)
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمُ ٱلْوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ وَيَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَهُۥ وَيَخَافُونَ عَذَابَهُۥٓ إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ كَانَ مَحْذُورًا
Those whom they call upon — they themselves seek the means of approach to their Lord, [striving to see] which of them is nearer, and they hope for His mercy and fear His repair‑punishment; indeed, the repair‑punishment of your Lord has always been something to beware.
