Surah Al-Isra (17:33)
وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِۦ سُلْطَٰنًا فَلَا يُسْرِف فِّى ٱلْقَتْلِ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مَنصُورًا
And do not kill the living self which Allah has made inviolable, except with due right. And whoever is killed while wronged, then We have indeed granted to his close protector an authority, so let him not be excessive in killing; surely he has been given support.
