Surah Hud (11:62)
قَالُوا۟ يَٰصَٰلِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَٰذَآ أَتَنْهَىٰنَآ أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِى شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَآ إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ
They said, “O Ṣāliḥ, you were indeed, among us, one looked to (with expectation) before this. Do you forbid us that we worship what our fathers worship? And indeed we are, regarding that to which you are calling us, in a doubt that stirs contention.”
