لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
Those who covered [the truth] from among the People of the Scripture and the joiners (of partners) were not ones to separate [from their state] until the clear evidence came to them.
Research verse 98:1 →
رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً
A messenger from Allah, reciting purified writings.
Research verse 98:2 →
فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ
Within it are writings that are firmly established.
Research verse 98:3 →
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
And those who were given the Scripture did not split apart except after the clear evidence had come to them.
Research verse 98:4 →
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ
And they were not commanded except to serve Allah, devoting the judgment to Him, as hanīfs, and to establish the prayer and to give the zakāh. And that is the judgment of the upright (community).
Research verse 98:5 →
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
Indeed, those who covered [the truth] from among the People of the Book and the joiners (of partners) are in the Fire of Jahannam, remaining in it; those – they are the worst of the created beings.
Research verse 98:6 →
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
Indeed, those who have trusted (in God) and done sound deeds – those are the best of the created beings.

جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ
Their recompense with their Lord is gardens of lasting settlement, beneath which the rivers flow, remaining therein forever. Allah has been satisfied with them, and they have been satisfied with Him. That is for whoever stands in awe of his Lord.
