سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Everything that is in the heavens and everything that is in the earth has glorified God; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
Research verse 61:1 →
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ
O you who have attained faith, why do you say what you do not do?
Research verse 61:2 →
كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ
It has become greatly detested, with Allah, that you say what you do not do.
Research verse 61:3 →
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنْيَٰنٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ
Indeed, Allah loves those who engage in fighting in His path, [arrayed] as a row, as though they were a structure compactly joined.
Research verse 61:4 →
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِى وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓا۟ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ
And when Moses said to his people, “My people, why do you cause me harm, while you certainly know that I am the messenger of Allah to you?” So when they swerved, Allah made their hearts swerve; and Allah does not guide the defiantly deviant people.
Research verse 61:5 →
وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ إِنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَمُبَشِّرًۢا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِى مِنۢ بَعْدِى ٱسْمُهُۥٓ أَحْمَدُ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
And when Jesus, son of Mary, said, “O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of God to you, confirming what is before my hands of the Torah, and as a bearer of good news of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad.” But when he came to them with the clear evidences, they said, “This is evident magic.”
Research verse 61:6 →
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلْإِسْلَٰمِ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
And who is more darkly unjust than one who fabricates the lie against Allah while he is being called toward the Islam, and Allah does not guide the darkly unjust people.
Research verse 61:7 →
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
They intend to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah is one who completes His light, even if the concealers (of truth) dislike it.
Research verse 61:8 →
هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ
He is the One who sent His messenger with the guidance and the judgment of the truth, to make it prevail over the entire judgment-system, even if those who join [others with Him] dislike it.
Research verse 61:9 →
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَٰرَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
O you who have attained faith, shall I point you to a trade that will deliver you from a painful punishment?
Research verse 61:10 →
تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمْوَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
You trust in Allah and His messenger, and you strive in Allah’s path with your wealth and your selves. That is better for you, if you are (truly) knowing.
Research verse 61:11 →
يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِى جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
He will cover for you your tails, and admit you into gardens beneath which the rivers flow, and [into] good dwellings in gardens of lasting establishment. That is the tremendous success.
Research verse 61:12 →
وَأُخْرَىٰ تُحِبُّونَهَا نَصْرٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And another [thing] that you love: support from Allah and an opening that is near. And give good tidings to the believers.
Research verse 61:13 →
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوٓا۟ أَنصَارَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّـۧنَ مَنْ أَنصَارِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ قَالَ ٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِ فَـَٔامَنَت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّآئِفَةٌ فَأَيَّدْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ ظَٰهِرِينَ
O you who have believed, be helpers of God, just as Jesus son of Mary said to the disciples, “Who are my helpers toward God?” The disciples said, “We are the helpers of God.” Then a group from the Children of Israel believed, and a group covered [the truth]. So We reinforced those who believed against their enemy, and they thus became prevailing.
