تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
Ruined are the two hands of Abu Lahab, and he is ruined.

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
His wealth did not benefit him, nor what he earned.

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
Soon he will be made to enter a fire possessing flame.
Research verse 111:3 →
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
And his woman, a constant carrier of firewood,
Research verse 111:4 →
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
In her neck is a rope of bast-fiber.
